Inspired by childrens' imagination, curiosity and incessant questioning as to "why?" things are the way they are, the ADSF character and logo was born. From a question mark, the character created was all about "Sparking Curiosity".

The Abu Dhabi Science Festival is currently the largest annual science festival in the region and has been attended by nearly half a million visitors since its inception.

In line with Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision and the UAE Innovation Strategy, the festival aims to spark the imagination of the nation’s youth in science and technology, encouraging them to pursue STEM subjects throughout their education and career choices.
